Thank you one and all for your enthusiasm for our mission.  

COVID-19 is still with us.  The 19 in ‘COVID-19’ means 2019, so it’s been around in its various forms for 2+ years.  The death rate has reduced from 2020, but contagion is still happening, and happening to people who are double vaccinated and boosted.  It’s a different virus now in that it’s less severe, but more contagious.  But it continues to attack many different areas of the body and can still cause ‘long COVID’ reactions, meaning month’s-long tiredness or memory difficulties. So don’t be embarrassed or self-conscious by wearing a mask to protect yourself and your family.

As 2022 progresses, we’ll be reaching out to our mailing list with information about candidates in and around Clark County.  We’ll also be emailing, or posting, about political occurrences locally.

Nationally, in our democratic experiment, we seem to be on the brink of calamity as roughly a third of the population continues to believe that Biden stole his presidential victory – clearly dis-proven, and that the Capitol insurrection on Jan 06, 2021 was anything but a treasonous insurrection.  Other aspects are worrisome like the removal of polling places in minority neighborhoods, and the placement of people that believe the 2020 election was stolen into decisive elections offices where they could affect voting outcomes.  Between the pandemic, Russia’s war on Ukraine, existential climate change, and the apparent threat to US democracy, these are times to try the patience of anyone.

Stay aware, stay healthy, be informed and talk about the things you see and feel.  Too many citizens are uninformed on what is happening.
